Whitelisting in your SonicWall services will allow your users to receive phishing and training-related emails from the CyberLearn service.
The instructions below mirror SonicWall’s standard UI. If you run into issues whitelisting CyberLearn, contact your SonicWall support team for product-specific steps..
Whitelisting by IP in SonicWall’s Email Security Device
Follow these instructions to whitelist the CyberLearn mail servers by IP address:
- Log in to your SonicWall appliance as an admin and click Manage.
- Under Security Services, select Anti-Spam → Address Book → Allowed.
- Click Add.
- From the Select list type drop-down, select IPs.
- In the text box, enter the IP addresses used by CyberLearn (separate each IP with a carriage return). Use your current allow-list from CyberLearn/your ESP.
- Once you’ve entered the IP addresses, click Add (or Save).
Whitelisting by Group of IP Addresses in SonicWall’s CFS Policy
Follow these instructions to whitelist CyberLearn by group of IP addresses:
- Log in to your SonicWall management page and click Policies → Objects.
- Under Address Objects, click Add.
- Add the IP information for each CyberLearn sending IP you want to exclude and click Add.
- Repeat until you’ve added all of the IP addresses.
- From Policies → Objects, select Add under Address Groups.
- Enter a name for the Exclusion Group.
- Highlight the IP addresses you want in the group and click the right-facing arrow to move them to the Group on the right.
- Click OK.
- Log in to your SonicWall appliance as an admin and click Manage.
- From Security Services → Content Filter → Excluded Address, select the exclusion group you created from the drop-down menu.
- Click ACCEPT.
Tip: After whitelisting, send yourself a short CyberLearn phishing test and open a simulation link from a client behind SonicWall to confirm the landing page loads immediately and the click appears in CyberLearn analytics.
